Field Service Technician– Southern Ireland

Established in 1988, Codico Distributors is the leading supplier of industrial marking and coding equipment in Ireland. We provide solutions to many blue-chip manufacturers and top exporters in the pharmaceutical, medical device, food and beverage sectors, amongst others.

The Role:

The Field Technician’s primary role is to install, service and repair Domino Printing Technologies. This will include Laser marking, Ink Jet, DOD, Thermal transfer and labelling systems.

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Install, service and repair the full range of coding, marking and peripheral equipment to the highest standards.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism.
• Communicate with the Service Manager via the internal job allocation system, email and telephone contact.
• Support continuous improvement and problem-solving processes.

What are we looking for?

• A formal technical qualification would be an advantage.
• Preferably 3 years field service experience in an electronic/technical role.
• Experience with PLC integration and integrating with ERP or MES systems.
• Computer skills in MS Office,
• Full clean driver’s licence as a company vehicle will be provided.
• Experience in CIJ, thermal and laser printers would be an advantage, full training will be provided
